Hey.
Elder Frame
here! So it's been another week here in beloved Kerman! It's been a
blast! I have the greatest leadership here in the Fresno West zone!
Elder Allred and Elder Bean are my zone leaders! I've become a district
leader once more and I couldn't be happier! More time to proselyte and
still able to associate with the wonderful leadership of the mission! I'm
exactly where I want to be! Kerman is a little town by Fresno! My
companion and I get our own little kingdom over here to teach and preach in
english and spanish! It's so awesome! Everybody I talk to is a
potential person we could start teaching! It's just a matter of how hard
we work! And work we have!
We had our zone
meeting this past week and it was all about finding new investigators!
When we don't find new people to teach, nobody gets baptized. Pretty
simple. So we had 5 days of fanatic finding! There was a challenge
every day of the week leading up to our Saturday meeting.
For example:
Day One- Find one new
investigator before the end of Preparation Day.
Day Two- Find one new
investigator from asking for a referral from somebody.
Day Three- Find using
the Restoration Pamphlet. etc. etc.
It was great!
All of the challenges were given in hopes that as we did them we'd connect the
dots between conversion to the gospel, our missionary purpose, finding new
investigators, and truly finding those prepared by the Lord! All of this
culminated in the climax of blitzing one area of our zone. They were
struggling and so to practice our finding skills, the whole zone went out to
find in their area. They ended up with 21 new investigators. By Sunday night,
our zone had found 83 new people to teach the gospel. That's a California
Fresno Mission record. So yeah. It was super cool to be a part of
that.
I can't believe that
Madi's going home too. That's so weird. And sad. Missions are
the greatest. Having to end an experience like this has got to be the
hardest thing. Good thing I still have a long time. Haha. No,
really though. These last months of mine will be the most rewarding,
converting, amazing, life-altering, spiritual months I've ever had in my
life. Why? Because I'm going to make the most out of every single
spiritually loaded second I have out here in my mission. I've loved my
mission so much. I'm still loving it. Every second.
I love my mission.
I love Jesus Christ.
I love you all.
